| Ken commences the slide... |
MANY of you would have been aware that Ken Wootton had a massive get-off at Phillip Island during one of the support races for the World Supers. I actually saw Ken wandering dazedly through the back of the pits moments after the get-off and he looked like he'd been exploded from the inside.

As it turns out, the accident was altogether more spectacular than I imagined it to be. As it also turns out, Ken got some pictures sent to him from a nice lady who photographed his get-off and I told him if he sent them to me, then I would show the world how visually entertaining his crash was.

The result of the stack?
Ken's little finger has been pinned after it was mashed between the handlebar and the road. A few bruises and that's about it.

The Honda commences disassembly... |
The bike is rather poorly, but Ken's rebuilding it and will sally forth again in the very near future.

Rubber side no longer down... |
A good result, considering that Ken's Forgotten Era Honda runs on pure methanol (which you can see gushing out of the smashed tank in one of the shots) and could have gone up in a ball of invisible flame taking the rider with it.
