At the end of the five-event series, one child gets to go to Europe with Red Bull and compete in the Champions of Tomorrow series -- so it's kind of a big deal and a great opportunity for the entrants.

But most importantly, the MRRDA series is the field from which an entire generation of Aussie bike champions may grow. And having seen the racing up close and personal with Krusty Ferguson standing at my side, I'm of the view that this may well be so.

Simultaneously with the Juniors racing, Oran Park also hosted the first round of the Motul Formula 400 State of Origin (NSW vs Vic vs Qld) series, the Reece Bancell Memorial Association 125GP series, and the Arquin 250GP and MRRDA series of races.
